Tonight ...tomorrow
Tonight I have kissed, hugged and said goodnight to my 2 year twin sons ... tomorrow I will be woken in the early hours by my "move over MUM" 3 year olds.
Tomorrow they won't look any different from tonight but so very much from 3,
Tonight I still have 3 dozen mini cups cakes to bake ...tomorrow I will ice and decorate them for preschool(daycare).
Tonight I have a few presents to wrap (I am so behind) ... tomorrow two 'bigger' little boys will start the first day of their fourth trip around the sun.
I thank God for my amazing life with them and I hope all their dreams come true.
I have a video montage we made on DVD but havn't yet worked out how to put it into a blog post version ...maybe tomorrow

Weekly Winers 26 2009
Happy but wet holiday edition
A visit to A & E = 4 hr wait for one tiny stitch (medical centre sent us to hospital)
but I would much rather that then for it to be something worse. Dr was amazed Sam let him inject local anaesthetic and then stitch it.
A slippery,muddy path ...
It was too cold to swim
...building sandcastles no worries once the rain stopped.
A visit to The Clog Barn
The guy was so nice he gave us one to take home.
Little Holland ...model Dutch Village
The jetty from last Sunday ...from the island
A kooky looking tree ...
Calm blue sea ...just breathe.

Making every second count
I just spent an hour or more trying to catch up on your posts in my feed reader. It was worth every second.
So because I haven't got anything worthwhile to say myself - I won't waste my breath. Instead , I have to share two of the most inspiring blog posts I have read in a long time.
Lilly @ Lilly's life tells the story of the day Isaam came to live with us ...imagine taking in a homeless ,street kid -a 15yr boy (from Jordan) into your family. It brought tears to my eyes.
Three times kewl has the most important message, you'll ever read, to share ...CHEERS if you like a drink or two or more ...or you know someone who does or even if you don't .
Say no more ...One second is all it takes to click over yourself.
Take your tissues.
To both of them.
You will be inspired by the human spirit, humbled and challenged beyond measure.
I am in awe of these two women tonight.
There were many so more inspiring stories to share ...I had over 600 posts in my feed reader...
but I am off to snuggle and sleep.

The Light of Hope
THE LIGHT OF HOPE
By Moonlight
When you are down the bottom of the dark pit, look for the light of hope. It is stronger and brighter than a million candles burning in your heart. It is precious and unique and you will never lose it.
Sometimes strong winds blow and the flames flicker and grow dim but, when the wind dies and all is calm, the glow is once again ignited to shine the lights beauty and radiance upon us all. Never doubt that you have this flame within you. Sometimes we forget to look for it and we flounder around in the darkness wondering where we are.
All around you there is life and happiness - reach out and touch it for it will be attracted to your light and be yours if you have the faith to accept it. There is hope in that light of yours and you never lose it entirely because hope is eternal and, like a circle, keeps the windows of our minds light so that the darkness will not engulf us entirely.
So you keep enduring through the rain and the cold climbing a huge mountain in the dark - sometimes backwards and blindfolded. Then one day a small beam of light filters through - you squint and wonder what it is.
It is the light of hope for it does exist. But first you must endure the worst elements, the worst pain, terror, confusion and misery but, when you reach the top of the mountain, look back down and realise, while standing in the light, the journey you have made. Then you will know why the light of hope exists.
And if you ever feel lost as though in a maze again - you're not. For during the day all the wonders of mother nature will keep you company to buffer you from pain and loneliness. And at night, the beauty of the constellation continues to shine with the moon and the stars always there, even behind dark clouds and rain, the planets always shine for you.
Yes life can be cruel and cold, but remember that there is love and understanding in the light of hope to wrap around you and shelter and protect you. Rejoice in the progress you have made each day for you have travelled a long winding track in your journey to find some happiness.
May it always be yours in the light of hope.
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord. “Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11 NIV
This verse has been a favourite of mine for a long time I knew I was in His grip but sometimes I felt I was slipping away ...
I came to realise we must be the one to be the change . I know we must also believe in ourselves and our unlimited potential even when things do not go as planned.
I am so thankful for HOPE ...it gives me strength to go on, makes my heart flutter with joy and gives me peace that I am not alone.
PS - All is well we are enjoying some calm blue sea for a few days ...again [that is why I am re-posting this ;) ]

Bargains with God
“99% accurate in less than 2 mins” says the marketing spiel...aimed at both extremes of the women holding the thin strip between trembling fingers. Each nervously anticipating the result with a tumultuous heart beating and holding their breath.
It is a graceless act, peeing on a stick (or into a miniscule cup), that could hurl our emotions and either send them soaring or over the edge.
One line with the potential to change a lifetime.
Some have no need to read the instructions.
Each women tries to imagine the result they want.
Their life (and perhaps another [or two]) rests on a line.
How different a life it will be ... if it is or if it is not the desired outcome.
Even those who don’t believe in God are just as likely to screw shut their eyes and make bargains with God or a higher deity.
Praying as they are counting down...
Please God I’ll believe if you give me an
...empty window
Oh ‘ God it has to be Negative!
No listen to me God ...I’ll give my right kidney for a positive!
Just let there be two lines (pink or blue depends on the brand).
It’s not too hard Lord.
Is it?
Why can’t we all get what we want ?
You would think it has to balance out - those who want it more than anything in this world vs. those can’t think of anything worse.
So Me ...
The day I saw my first, two pink lines was just over 5 years ago @ 37yrs. I did another test a few minutes later to make sure.
I ‘d (we) waited a long time , 14 years married , over 12 years infertility - hope all but given up. We were already parents to an adopted son but this was something different.
One line (actually two) changed everything in my life, for all of time.
We had a few months of joyful anticipation till our dream was tragically shattered. No bargains possible. No one can take away the fact we created a precious baby girl who, though we never got to know in this lifetime, we will love forever.
I only got to cradle her briefly in my arms, trying to rock a lifetime of love into her still body. I hoped it was enough, though I knew she felt nothing. I had nothing left in me to bargain with.
I am so thankful we were given another chance with two lines.
By the grace of God, almost three years ago, two precious and blessed boys came to grace our lives in a way I never imagined possible the day I saw even my first two lines.
The whole of their ‘pregnancy’ I bargained with God daily, hourly to let them be born alive , let them live. I still do to this day. I will forever.
Welcome to ICLW ...if you are visiting you can read my full story here.

Fortunately ...or unfortunately
Fortunately, I have 5 mins to spare, while I sit making sure my toddlers have a nap.I am sitting on Joel's bed while barking orders liedown, head on the pillow , be quiet !!!!
Thanks to K@lakly, (who thanks to Niobe) I found a productive way to spend my time
....google your name, beginning with "unfortunately________" filling in your name and see what pops up.
Unfortunately, I didn't really like the options.
So here's some of what I have been 'unfortunately' up to:
Unfortunately Trish is in end-stage multiple ...
Unfortunately, Trish's inquiries draw the unwelcome attention of some unsavory individuals who attempt to frighten her into backing off. ...
Unfortunately Trish came down with a cold a few days ago
Unfortunately Trish and I couldn´t sit up and listen to the tales of local town though. After one glass of disgustingly bad wine from a box
Unfortunately Trish is in pain today after the car door slammed shut on her finger. – ouch !!!
Wait there was more but I had to click the links and they were so tragic ...so I turned my frown upside down ...and goggle 'fortunately'.
Fortunately, Trish is a wizard at calculating cash flow (hint: it's not about knowing how much money you have in the bank today, and spending based on that; ...) tick
Fortunately, Trish is wonderfully understanding. tick
Trish, fortunately takes after her mom ...tick
Life is good ...(enough)
My glass is still half full (well a bit later)
The toddlers are napping *yay*
Unfortunately, I don't have as much time on my hands as I'd like *sigh* so I best make tracks I have some dust bunnies to catch.
I almost forgot to mention. It is our oldest son's 16th birthday today. I have to bake a cake, tidy up for visitors and you know the drill ...
I wonder if his birth mother is thinking of him today ?

You were born together, and together you shall be forevermore... but let there be spaces in your togetherness. And let the winds of the heavens dance between you.
